Touch Display Research to Keynote at eDC (electronics Display Conference) 2016

Santa Clara, California, January 19, 2016—Dr. Jennifer Colegrove will be giving a keynote presentation on the touch panel, touchless sensor, and emerging display market at the 2016 EDC (electronic displays Conference) in Nuremberg, Germany next month and will visit exhibitions.

Growth in the global display industry is slowing, the touch panel industry’s profit margin is thinner, but there are hot trends in many areas. In this presentation, Dr. Colegrove will discuss opportunities and growth areas for the touch panel, touchless human-machine-interaction (HMI) sensors, and emerging display industry. From mobile phones to interactive signage; from finger touch to pen writing; from gesture control to voice command, there are many opportunities and many challenges.  Dr. Colegrove will also provide a market forecast for the touch panel and touchless HMI sensor market and the overall display market from 2016 through 2025. She’ll discuss the new opportunities in display market:  flexible and curved displays, quantum dot displays, OLED displays, e-paper displays, and embedded (in-cell on-cell) touch screens.
