We are back together–SID Vehicle Display and Interface 2022 conference review

I just returned from the SID Vehicle Display and Interface 2022 conference in Detroit, Michigan. It was my honor to meet many of you in person.

The COVID-19 pandemic made the 2020 conference on line. In 2021, our industry professionals are back together in Detroit to re-connect with each other. In 2022, the conference changed to a new location: the beautiful Sheraton, Novi hotel. Many attendees said, “I’m so glad to see REAL people!”, “People are tied of online things, and it’s time to come out of their home.” “For display and touch screen, you have to see and touch it.”

This year’s conference had doubled the amount of industry attendees of last year. Comparing with the record high attendees–approximately 700 in 2019, 2022 is still smaller. Here is my blog three years ago about the 2019 SID Vehicle Display and Interface Conference.
